The Pokemon Go update on July 30th made a variety of changes to the Pokemon Go interface, including how you transfer Pokemon. Although the new mechanism for transferring Pokemon is a bit easier than the old one, it is now more difficult to find the button that allows you to transfer Pokemon. Below, we’ll show you the new way to transfer Pokemon in Pokemon Go.
So, where can I find the transfer Pokemon button in Pokemon Go now?
You’ll have to go into the small menu button at the bottom right of the Pokemon’s detail screen to find the transfer button now. Once you tap on the menu button inside the details page, you’ll see a transfer button.
See the pictures below for more details.

Being sure to transfer Pokemon in Pokemon Go also allows you to have more types of Pokemon at once. You only have space for 250 Pokemon in your bag. If you have 40 Pidgeys, you won’t be able to catch rarer Pokemon later.
