A teen recently made a shocking discovery while playing Pokemon Go next to a river, and it wasn't the elusive Gyarados. According to Shayla Wiggins, a resident of Wyoming, was told to find a Pokemon from a natural water source but instead stumbled upon a dead body in the Big Wind River in Wyoming. Ms. Wiggins said to the newspaper, The County 10 that she was playing the game at a stage where she was required to get Pokemon from a natural water resource. “I was walking towards the bridge along the shore when I saw something in the water, I had to take a second look, and I realized it was a body,” Wiggins told the news outlet. Shayla was living in a trailer park for the summer with her mother when she jumped over a fence to get the Pokemon shown on her mobile phone’s map. "It was pretty shocking," she said. "I didn't really know what to do at first. But I called 911 right away, and they came really quickly." The deceased body was on the Big Wind River under the Wyoming Highway 789 Bridge and according to a local department, there was no foul play involved. Though the deceased may have passed away, as a result of playing Pokemon Go game, detectives stated his death appeared to be accidental as a result of drowning though investigations are ongoing. "The death appears to be accidental in nature and possibly that of a drowning," said the Fremont County Sheriff's Office in a statement. He followed up by saying that there was no evidence that would indicate foul play. The Sheriff concludes that "Evidence located at the scene has led investigators to believe the man went into the water at the location he was found." Pokemon Go involves gamers user scouring their real world area to find different Pokemon. In addition, players can find different types of Pokemon by their natural habitat such as water Pokemon by bodies of water.
