Pokemon Y is the newest installment in the Pokemon series.  This section will provide players with cheats, tips, and tricks to help you along in your journey to catch them all!  Read on for all our cheats for Pokemon Y!

Heal All Of Your Pokemon Without Using Items To heal all of your Pokemon in Pokemon Y in your party while on the go and with no items, you can simply start a battle over Wi-Fi.  Once a trainer you have challenge accepts, all of your Pokemon will have full HP(hit points) and PP(power points). A note: you can leave anytime after the other trainer accepts and still receive these benefits.  However, should you leave before the battle you will get a loss on your record.  If this isn’t important to you, then this method is a super easy way to progress through hard areas of Pokemon Y without having to return to a town for items, in case you forgot or ran out.

Get Unlimited Heart Scales For Learning And/Or Relearning Move In Pokemon Y you can use the Move Relearner in Dendemille Town to either relearn moves a Pokemon has forgot(either from adding new moves or from day care) or moves that a Pokemon has passed up from an earlier level. The Move Relearner, however, requires Heart Scales to provide her service.  Luckily, there is a way to get an unlimited amount of Heart Scales.  You will need two items, the Old Rod and TM46(Thief).  You can use the Old Rod on the Muraille Coast in Route 8 to encounter Luvdiscs there.  Luvdiscs have a 50/50 chance of carrying Heart Scales, so keep fishing and stealing in that area for an unlimited supply of Heart Scales.

Tips For Making Money In Pokemon Y First off, the Battle Chateau.  The Battle Chateau in Pokemon Y is a building full of trainers that repopulates over the course of the day.  Each trainer there, as with anywhere, will earn you a cash reward if you defeat them.  However, there a couple ways to greatly increase your payout. First, the Battle Chateau is populated by your rank there.  As your rank increases, the ratio of more powerful(higher ranked) trainers increases, as does their respective payout.  By defeating lots of trainers there you can increase your rank and thus the trainers payout. Second, by investing in Writs you can invite more trainers to visit the Battle Chateau throughout the day.  Also, by using the Gold Invitation Writ you can invite trainers who specifically have higher payouts.  The writs are pricey and only last to midnight of the day of purchase, but if you keep returning to the Battle Chateau you will make a profit. Finally, by giving a pokemon an Amulet Coin or using the Prize Money O-Power you will greatly increase your profits.

Finding Secret Items In Battle Backgrounds In various battles throughout the world of Pokemon Y there are secret items hidden in the background scenery.  By using certain ranged attacks against the background scenery items can be gained.  Only specific moves can be used against specific things, so for example, Air Cutter can be used against a tree but not against grass.  You can check out this list of currently known moves and their affected background objects.

Fill Out Your Pokedex With Pokemon You Haven’t Encountered Across Pokemon Y you will find cafes to visit, three in total.  In these cafes you can get a drink, which will heal your pokemon.  But by speaking to your fellow patrons you can be shown pokemon and if you have never encountered them before, they will be added to your pokedex. In each café you will be given a choice of area to dine.  By choosing the Terrace(5,000) you will be shown pokemon you have not seen before and possibly even a legendary pokemon.  By choosing either of the other two options, you may be shown a pokemon you already have in your pokedex.

Quickly Hatch New Pokemon If you are waiting for a new pokemon to hatch in Pokemon Y and currently have nothing else in-game to do, you can speed up the waiting process by using this trick. In Lumiose City there is a large circle going around the central tower.  This trick requires you to find something to hold your pad down on your device.  Make sure you find a place in the circle where you won’t bump into anything, then set your trainer to start walking. By using the circle as a never-ending path, you can easily pass time waiting for an egg to hatch while not actually having to kill time in-game.  Do something else in the mean time.  Note, always be careful when using means to hold buttons down on your device; don’t apply unnecessary amounts of pressure.
